More than 70 b-schools accept XAT score
The test date for Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2012 has been announced. XAT 2012 will be held on Sunday January 8, 2012. The registration process for XAT will start from September 20, 2011. XAT is a paper-pencil test conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur for admission to it Personnel Management & Industrial Relations and Business Management programmes. XAT is considered as one of the toughest management entrance exams in the country. Apart from XLRI, there are more than 70 b-schools who accept XAT score for admission to their post graduate MBA programmes.
XAT 2011 was a 2 hours 20 minutes test with 101 questions divided in three sections- Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning (34), Analytical Reasoning and Decision Making (24) and Data Interpretation and Quantitative Ability (43).
There was differential marking with 1 to 5 marks allotted to each question—mentioned besides each question. XAT 2011 was not sectional timed.
