Seasons are a way for NBA 2K to release new content such as MyTeam cards and challenges throughout the course of an NBA season. So far, nine seasons of NBA 2K21 MyTeam have been released, each with its own set of limited-time MyTeam cards, packs, and collections. Seasons is expected to be released every six weeks this year, similar to the previous year's title. This year, however, each season will bring with it a fresh set of MyTeam rewards like cards or NBA 2K22 MT in order to complete challenges, as well as new content for the MyCareer and The W game modes.
