Today's Diablo 2 Resurrected open beta is kicking off at 6pm BST across all compatible platforms, meaning PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC. The only group missing out is on Nintendo Switch, and there seems little chance of an update on the subject before August 23, the official open beta end time.

Valorant is a team-based tactical shooter from Riot Games, the studio behind League of Legends. Resurrected will hold a closed beta starting Friday, August 13 for players who pre-ordered the game, and an open beta starting Friday, August 20.

Beta tests will be playable on all consoles and PC, except for Nintendo Switch, according to Blizzard.com. Xbox Live Gold is required for the pre-order beta on August 13 but is not required for the open beta on August 20. PlayStation Plus is not required for either beta test. Both Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus will be necessary for multiplayer features at the game's launch.

Progress will carry over between the two betas, but no progress will carry over from the beta held earlier this year. Cross-progression will be available during both beta periods, but a separate pre-order is necessary for each platform during the Early Access beta. There will be no level cap for this beta, and it's unclear whether beta progress will carry over into the main game.

Similar to a previous beta test, only Act I and Act II will be playable. The Barbarian, Amazon, and Sorcereress classes from that beta will be playable once again, along with the Paladin and Druid classes which are new for this beta. The game will launch with two more classes, Assassin and Necromancer, but those two classes will not be available during the betas.

It’s been nearly eight years since the last entry in the Grand Theft Auto franchise was released. Fans have been patiently waiting for news regarding the release of GTA 6, while Rockstar Games has continued to develop new content for GTA 5.

I recently called Diablo 2 one of the best RPGs ever made, and my opinion on that subject hasn’t exactly changed over the last couple of months. If anything, I’d argue that Diablo 2 has aged better than many of the other great games of its era. While its longevity can certainly be attributed to the longevity of the “looter” genre itself, Diablo 2 was, is, and perhaps always will be a fundamentally enjoyable RPG experience.
We’re going to talk a lot about Diablo 2: Resurrected’s improvements and shortcomings, but you have to remember that we’re still talking about an all-time great game. If you haven’t played it, you really should. If you have played it, there’s a good chance you’ll want to play it again.
Thankfully, Diablo 2: Resurrected does not repeat that particular mistake. The game has some visual shortcomings, but this remaster gets most of the big things right in that department. The new designs look great, most of the new effects are incredible, and, in general, this is a brilliant example of how to upgrade a 21-year-old game’s visuals without compromising its core art style.

One of the best things about making money in Final Fantasy XIV, is that you can get a little help from your trusty sidekicks; the Retainers. After completing the ‘Scions of the Seventh Dawn’ Main Scenario Quest, you can send your Retainers on so-called ‘Retainer Ventures’. Completing these ventures awards you with experience and, of course, Gil.
The more Ventures your Retainers complete, the higher their level will become and the better your rewards. Although the Retainer Ventures aren’t the most profitable activity to make Gil in FFXIV, they are an easy source of income that will grow over time.

We could not have had a better result to determine our new World Champions.Karsten Warholm of Norway has beat his own world record to win the 400-meter hurdles gold medal on Tuesday at the Tokyo Olympics.
The two-time world champion ran 45.94 seconds to win a final where six of the first seven finishers set either national or area records.
It's the second time in just over a month that Warholm has lowered the record. He set the previous mark of 46.70 at Oslo on July 1.
Rai Benjamin of the United States took silver in 46.17 and Alison dos Santos of Brazil got bronze.
Earlier on Tuesday, Malaika Mihambo of Germany took the top spot in the women's long jump with a 7-meter leap on her final attempt and edged U.S. veteran Brittney Reese for the Olympic gold medal.
