How can I connect Ethernet adapter to the 4k gaming monitor 27 inch

I hope you are doing great!

I am here to get a response from you. I'm hoping for the best advice. Actually, I purchased a new 4K gaming monitor (27 inches) [https://www.lenovo.com/de/de/d/accessories-and-monitors/4K-monitors] and I want to connect an Ethernet adapter to it. But somehow I was not able to connect with this. Before 4K gaming, I was using a computer, and that was connected.
I have followed some troubleshooting steps:
1. Connect the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on your monitor.
2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to your Ethernet adapter.
3. Connect the Ethernet adapter to your computer or laptop using a USB or Thunderbolt port.
4. Turn on your computer or laptop and the monitor.
5. Check the network settings on your computer or laptop to ensure that the Ethernet connection is recognized and active.

But still, I am facing the same issue.

Can anyone offer some advice?
