So, we had a promising showing last night. They are coming back tonight to look again. They also have expressed that they want to move before school starts or at least they want their kids enrolled before school starts before school starts.

School starts in two weeks. Realistically, unless the cash buyers we won’t be able to close. That quick. We don’t live in the house anymore so from our perspective we could close Friday if they wanted to and could get all their ducks in a row but if they have a loan that’s probably not realistic.

So, what are our options here?

I expect a signed contract would be enough to enroll the kids so as long as we get the contract signed, they may just be responsible for transportation and it may be a normal sale from my perspective.

What other creative options are out there if they want to physically be in the house in two weeks?

When we were selling our home, we faced a similar situation. Have you considered a leaseback arrangement? It's where you sell the house but rent it back temporarily from the new owners.

This could buy you some time to find a more permanent solution while allowing the buyers to move in sooner. It's a win-win for both parties. Also, regarding school enrollment, a signed contract should indeed suffice in most cases.

Hang in there, and hopefully, everything falls into place smoothly! By the way, have you checked out emaarfarmgardens.com? It might inspire some creative ideas for your situation.
