If your Linksys Router starts flashing the red light, it indicates that there is a lack of communication between the router and your modem. Besides, any issues at the ISP’s end can also trigger this issue. Ensure that all the cables are properly connected to the router and your modem. If Linksys router blinking, then check if there is any physical damage to the Ethernet cable connecting the router and your modem. If yes, replace the cable with a new one and check if the Linksys routers troubleshooting is a success. If the issue of the red light still persists, turn off the router and disconnect all the cables connected to it, including the power adapter. Wait for two minutes and reconnect all the cables back to their respective slots. Turn on the router and check if the issue is resolved. If not, reset the router. Press and hold the reset button of the router for 10 seconds and release it. You can also configure Netgear router as access point.
