Meanwhile, Snitker and his players have tried to remain focused on preparing for 2018. Sporting News talked with the manager to discu s the offseason and the direction of the team.
Sporting News: How tough was the uncertainty after the season ended?
Brian Snitker:It moved quicker than I Kevin Byard Jerseys thought it would. I look at what I went through and it doesn't compare to what other guys went through. A lot of very succe sful managers didn't get asked back. In the industry, you learn to cherish every day. I'm excited and honored to be back. I'm excited about the 2018 season. I want to see how our young guys develop. I'm excited about our team and organization.
SN: How did you handle it?
BS:It's something you've never been through before. I've never seen anything like this in my time in baseball. I do know one thing. This is a very strong organization. There are a lot of people who have worked their whole lives to make this organization strong. We will learn from this and be better. It will take more than that to bring this team down. We will bounce back. We will learn from it. The Braves will be strong again.
SN: What was your impre sion of Alex Anthopoulos?
BS: He's got great energy. He's a really good guy. I'm excited to work with him. We needed a fresh start and Alex will provide that. He wants to make Bud Dupree Jerseys this team great and I'm looking forward to getting to know him.
SN: How tough was it losing Terry and Eddie?
BS: It was very Tennessee Titans Hats hard. Terry is one my best friends. Eddie and I are close too. It was hard to let those guys go. They are very profe sional and good at what they do. I told them that I've been recycled too. It's a tough part of this busine s. Terry helped me to get a lot of rough patches. When I took this job I said I wanted him by my side. I think nothing but the world of him. Same with Eddie. They are both wonderful Braves. I hope they stay in the organization.

SN: What have the players been saying about the drama?
BS: Everybody has been focused on the future.I've talked to Freddie and so many of the guys. They are doing the work to prepare for the season. They are locked in on what they Austin Fort Jerseys can control.
SN: How have the interactions with Walt Wei s and the new staff been?
BS: I've known Walt for a long time. He's a great baseball man. He will be very valuable to me and our team. Another high energy guy. I've also had some good talks with Eric Young. He has a pa sion for this game like no other. We have a good group.
