What is taught in an ethics class? During this class students explore how human nature and the social environment interact and/or influence one another. The interactionists believe that we are social beings and that the way we relate to each other determines how effectively we can solve problems as a society. This class teaches students how to analyze social situations in such a way as to identify the best possible solutions. In other words, students learn how to use social science as a tool to solve ethical dilemmas in the real world.

What is taught in an Online Ethics Courses? Throughout the duration of this class students become familiar with the core concepts of ethical reasoning, the nature and function of emotions, the place of money in society and politics as well as social justice and equity. They also become acquainted with legal theories such as civil and criminal law, human rights, corporate law and environmental law.

What is taught in an ethics course? Throughout the duration of this four-credit course students analyze a wide variety of contemporary ethical issues. They also examine some basic models of justice based on social construction, deliberation, and voluntary exchange. They also reflect on traditional ethical theories such as classical liberalism, consequentialism, virtue theory, and Rawlsian paternalism. Students then complete a final project and take an online ethics course for a final grade.
