Welcome back to The Daily Teddy, where we’ve gotten another update from ESPN’s Chris Mortensen. We had heard rumblings that the Vikings were going to bring Teddy Bridgewater off the Physically Unable to Perform List ASAP and, well, it doesn’t get much more ASAP than this.Vikings will in fact take Teddy Bridgewater off PUP and plan for him to practice Wednesday. Chris Mortensen October 16, 2017Yes, Bridgewater will be officially removed from the PUP List and will take to the practice field with his teammates on Wednesday Mark Fields Jersey.Taking Bridgewater off of the PUP list will start the three-week “clock” that the Vikings have to decide whether to move Bridgewater to the 53-man roster or let him revert to Injured Reserve. Again, during that time, Bridgewater does not count against the 53-man roster. So, the Vikings don’t necessarily have to make a corresponding roster move yet.Mind you, the Vikings don’t have to take the full three weeks. They could move him to the 53-man roster today if they wanted. I mean, that would be insane Irv Smith Jr. Jersey, but they could. However, it would be pretty shocking if the Vikings didn’t take all the time that they were allowed to let Bridgewater take his first practice reps of the season and get as many reps in as possible. In the next three weeks, the Vikings have a home date against the Baltimore Ravens https://www.vikingsedgeshop.com/Kirk_Cousins_Jersey-183, a road trip to take on the Cleveland Browns in London, and then their bye week. It’s not totally inconceivable that Bridgewater could be leading this team onto the field after that bye week. It’s going to be interesting to see how the Vikings handle the situation with Bridgewater, Case Keenum, and Sam Bradford .But, if you’ve been wondering when 5 was going to be returning to the practice field, it looks like he’ll be there with his teammates in less than 48 hours. In the words of noted American philosopher Ice Cube. . .I gotta say, today is a good day.
