At the latest global warming conference, the Indian delegation said “no one is going to tell us how much fossil fuel to burn, we’re going to burn all we want“

The Chinese position is they will start reducing carbon in 2030 and be carbon neutral by 2060. Which according to some people is too late to do anything to stop the problem. In the past they have said global warming is all the fault of the west so they should cut back on CO2 omissions not us.

The Russian position is “ the world is going to get warmer? Can’t happen soon enough for us!“

What the media isn’t telling you, is that in many countries global warming would be to their advantage.

Did you know in Germany supposedly all gung ho about reducing carbon emissions, there are actually fewer windmills now than a few years ago? It seems those windmill blades are made out of fiberglass and only last about half as long as their designed to be. So the total number of windmills producing electricity is going to decrease in the future, not increase.

Then there’s the German auto makers like Volkswagen who program their cars to meet emission standards only when they sense they are being tested not in actual operation. And it’s not just Volkswagen all the German car companies are guilty of the same transgressions.

Then of course there’s the distinct possibility global warming is occurring naturally. It’s just part of the interglacial era we are in now.

So what we should be doing is figuring out how we’re going to Live with global warming because we’re not doing a thing to stop it. This has been the UN position for about three years now.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on global warming. It's a complex issue with many different opinions and perspectives. While it's concerning to hear about some countries' stances on fossil fuel use and carbon reduction, everyone needs to take responsibility and work towards reducing our environmental impact. But remember that many people and companies (like https://www.carbonclick.com/business/) are building strategies to minimize the adverse effects of humans on the planet. But it would be great if all people were like that.
