The steps below describe How to Delete Journal Entry in Quickbook Desktop:
Select Make General Journal Entries from the Company menu.
Change the Date field in the Make General Journal Entries window if you want your entry to be recorded in the correct financial period.
Then, in the Entry No. Field, enter a number for your journal entry. QuickBooks will automatically number and order the following journal entries.
To proceed, you must first read or understand how to create a journal entry in QuickBooks.

To create a journal entry in QuickBooks Desktop, follow these steps:

Open QuickBooks Desktop: Launch QuickBooks on your computer and log in to your company file.

Access the Create Journal Entry Screen: From the top menu, click on the "Company" option, and then select "Make General Journal Entries" from the drop-down menu.

Enter Journal Entry Date: In the "Make General Journal Entries" window, enter the date for the journal entry in the "Date" field. By default, the current date is populated, but you can change it if needed.

Assign a Journal Entry Number: QuickBooks automatically assigns a journal entry number, but you can edit it if required.

Choose Accounts to Debit and Credit: In the "Account" column, enter the account to be debited in one row and the account to be credited in another row. You can select the accounts from the drop-down list or start typing the account name to find it quickly.

Enter Amounts: In the "Debit" and "Credit" columns, enter the respective amounts for each account. Debits and credits must balance; otherwise, you'll see an error message.

Add Memo (Optional): You can add an optional memo or description for each line item to provide additional information.

Check the Journal Entry: Review the journal entry to ensure accuracy and that it is balanced (total debits equal total credits).

Save the Journal Entry: Once you're satisfied with the journal entry, click the "Save & Close" button to save the entry and close the window. Alternatively, you can click "Save & New" to save the entry and create another journal entry.

Greetings,
Peter
